STOPAQ® system: Dry-applied
For dry surface condition application, STOPAQ® system is comprised of 2 layer protection as a minimum, including:
First Layer
STOPAQ® CZH Wrappingband, ideal for tidal zone exposure, with easy application on dry surfaces, environmentally friendly, resistant to temperatures up to 90°C.
Second Layer
STOPAQ® PVC Outerwrap, UV resistant PVC tape used for mechanical and indentation protection of CZH Wrappingband. Chemically resistant to chloride exposure and marine environments to temperatures up to 90°C. STOPAQ® HSPE and HSPEX Outerwrap is a high strength PE wrap with exceptional mechanical and UV resistance, to be applied alternatively or in conjunction to STOPAQ® PVC Outerwrap.
Third Layer
STOPAQ® Outerglass Shield (OGS) is a moisture curing composite wrap material consisting of a glass-fibre fabric impregnated with a solvent-free polyurethane resin. This material is added for locations that require high impact and mechanical protection, such as splash zones.
